About Me
I have wanted to be a Web/Graphic Designer since grade school. My fascination with computer-based design started when I realized that I could “Photoshop” my brother’s face onto the shoulders of our Mike Schmidt baseball cards. Back then I was using Photostyler, but I haven’t been able to beat the addiction yet.
Hopefully I won’t any time soon.
I love web design for the sheer variety of it. Whether I’m working on improving my skills in Flash, reading up on the latest CSS techniques, or trying to work my way through a tricky jQuery issue, there’s always so much to learn and challenge me.
I design standards-based websites, using semantic XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Those are definitely my fortés, but I know my way around Flash, Cinema 4D, and I am definitely willing to dive into any other technolgies that may come up.
Personal
Currently, I live in Milwaukee, WI, where I have been developing websites professionally for almost 5 years. This doesn’t include my experience in college where I had a business developing websites for small companies around Milwaukee.
In what little spare time I have, I enjoy golf, tennis, and going for the occasional run. I have a love for reading and for really bad movies.
